Two Quotes on a Fountain

I'm so glad Dick figured out how to send his contributions - as he said, quoting Marvin's sentiment, "I'm not part of the family so I don't belong (in the picture)!" ("nor in the Symposia") Marvin's comment didn't bother Dick a whit - he immediately forgot about it, as you can tell! Anyway, biking at the Riparian Park the other day he wanted to capture a number of still water shots, and did. And then on the way home, through Gilbert Park, two different quotes were on one large fountain:

"We forget, the water cycle and the life cycle are the same." Jacques Cousteau
"Thousands have lived without love, but not one without water." W. H. Auden

With that, we say a hearty "Happy Birthday Benjamin Lucas!!" to an 8-year-old who is well loved. Hope your joint Carneval/birthday celebration is exciting.
Cubs lost yesterday while we were there - we biked to Hohokam. Today just got back from our usual 20 mile - we found a Panera-like restaurant far east that is a great destination because salads and sandwiches are so good.

And so is the biking. Love, Mom and Dick
