Our family, we started symposia
Reluctantly, some said "I s'pose, yah"
But the seeds that were sown
From this nest have flown
Now have much out of which to compose fer ya!
This symposia's name is Still Water
Of Lamken, Vold, Jaeger, and Potter
And as the sun sets
Hope no one forgets
The source of creation, our fodder!
Ironically, some pen a spate
While others, to table come late
But let no one here doubt
The source all throughout
Our Father, by Whom we create!
So let this symposia inspire
Both still water and cleansing fire
To this we have come
Our Journeys, in sum
Like the voice of a heavenly choir!
See, it can be done... Is it too much to ask that our poems at least rhyme?
