Well, that was easy! Stillwater is where I bought my first guitar--two, in fact, with the blue flying V electric Dean; it is where Katerina and I had a pre-Peace Corps drive to meet Grandma, in the borrowed blue Buick with a failing catalytic converter (Josh's revenge, I think, for the Plymouth Fury I lent him in 1988--the one that had a fickle sticking accelerator); "still waters" is King James' translation in Psalm 23; it borders Minnesota and Wisconsin, flows into Illinois; it hosts turtles and herons and muskrats and kayakers; it has already inspired dreams and desired labor.
As for 'symposia', do we not hope for a plurality of (as American Heritage Dictionary defines):
a meeting or conference for discussion of a topic, especially one in which the participants form an audience and make presentations;
a collection of writings on a particular topic, as in a magazine;
a convivial meeting for drinking, music, and intellectual discussion among the ancient GreeksSo you have that 'brewery' notion, as long as carousers have something to say or sing!
