Practically Synchronous

Hey! I think we're practically 'synchronous' rather than 'a-' (that's cyber-communication lingo, Mom!). Great to hear from you, and--Jon, your take? Idiot Productions gets my vote, too! But seriously, folks... Jean-Jaques Rousseau is probably the Frenchman behind our founding fathers--more him than Voltaire. John Stuart Mill is too 19th C, rather involved (sometimes awkwardly) in the 'women question' and formidable in what I'll call the 'adolescence' of modern democracy--Ibsen more artistically demarcates this period. Begs questions where 'new and decidely non-western' democracies are at: pre-Ibsen infancy? The etch-a-sketch has fully been shaken...

Thanks for the clarification on Ski-doo, Mom. I had no idea the story was written in duress...

Dan
