Advent-ure

Wishing all of us well this Advent season. We're busy this side of the ocean, with Katya prepping a lot of scout activities, Emma composing songs on the piano, Ben making chess boards, Joe reading The Brothers Karamazov for a lesson he'll lead tomorrow. I'm writing a lot for my Globe Writer's group, and now as our leader is moving to Portugal, they've asked me to take the helm. Prayers, please, as I want to keep the inertia as its been (tricky word, inertia)!

Some new items of Lost Menagerie may appeal, especially as some poems glide into stories toward Aging America. Tonight's features Bronko and happens to have Babička there in the background. Prayers also for her, as she's had a hard year on and off her feet.

Finally, in the spirit of Jon's work with T.S. Eliot, enjoy this radio reading of "Journey of the Magi", my favorite poem this time of year.

love,
Dan and fam
