New Year's blessings

Dear family,

This New Year has been extraordinary, positively 'beyond the beyond' (a phrase I used in the final paragraphs of the final Stara Evropa story, entitled 'Tipping Point'). We've enjoyed a dozen Taize participants in our home the past couple nights, from France, Croatia, Portugal and England, and Joey has been a wonderful anchor in the Matins and other aspects of this event. Photos to come. Meanwhile, enjoy our turn of years and God's mercy that has attended 2014.

I don't pull this verse out too often, but: "a bruised reed he does not break" (Isaiah 42:3)...
love,
Dan

  1. Keep turning, and turning us, to that verse, Dan!

I've recycled a little with my new year's post, too, something I wrote last year but never posted anywhere. This is also posted at Confluence, a blog I've set up for 2015 to try to review and improve on some of my past projects. I think I have enough stuff to carry me through the year, and I'm happy to let repeat bible verses keep encouraging me.

  2. Hello, and now a Happier New Year! I recopied the link to 'Tipping Point' as it wasn't linking--now is. It's a shorter read than 'Cymbaline', perhaps thankfully;)
