What a day! What a day of rejoicing! Earth Day means, for us, Andrea's birthday - how special and significant. It means the terrific posts that have already been made, Dan, Jon. Jon, your connection with our call to stewarding God's resources because it is God's alone - exalted. Thank you.
This is a tenuous connection at best, but I was excited to read this Psalm 33:3 passage yesterday and I passed it on to Andrea as a birthday greeting today - but I don't think she got the text.
It is specially for our family musicians: SING A NEW SONG OF PRAISE TO HIM; PLAY SKILLFULLY ON THE HARP, AND SING FOR JOY.
You music-makers have been and are continuing to develop your skill. May it be as an offering to God. May it be a part of your holy stewardship, because it does include work, practice and performance. Let it be fun, but firstly, let it be your purpose, for praise, for excitement, for joy.
Let's plan to do some music-making this summer at the July 17-19 summer birthday party here.
So far, our theme is Civil War era, but we're open! Love, Mom
