Indeed, that is where my list is--back about eight posts ago, when Josh launched this project. As you journey there, stop in to poems by Jon and KC, passions and a poem ensconced in a comment there. I could post my list anew--you'd see "Sweet Chil' of Mine" an uncanny 4th time (I think for quite different reasons!)--but I'd rather promote the comment function on this blog.
But since everyone is adding an eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, I'll add this newest latest masterpiece by Beats & Rice -- their message to 'stand for something' is, well,... worth watching!
So, Dan, I never got any sort of notification that any comment was posted to the 'Rare' post at the beginning of this month... Should I have? If you respond back, maybe this would be the litmus test--I would think that comments would at least be e-mailed to the original poster and the commenter, or at least the poster... Let me know if that happens.
ReplyDeleteVery cool list--I've also been thinking about that Yes tune, of course. My front-running Who tune is also off of 'Who's Next' as well. And I'm still considering Zeppelin's 'Ten Years Gone' for this year's list, but there are others, of course. And depending on the nature of the rest of the list, my Zeppelin tune might be something more like 'Misty Mountain Hop.' One way or another, both songs will wind up on one of my lists, whether this year, the next, or the next after that... Thus, the beauty of this project!
Also, you may want to make sure Joe sees your comment with the list. I was under the impression that you hadn't posted based on his list submission, which I liked quite a bit. You're raising him well! Are Ben and Emma adding their lists? Is Katerina?
We don't all get notified when there is a comment, only the author of that post gets notified. Which is why I'm not crazy about posting things for other people, by the way. I do like getting comments and should give comments more, too, but Dan, consider reposting your list (and for that matter your last poem, which I can then index with the other poems) as a separate blog.
