Cheer, cheer, cheer!

Go for it, Tilo!

Dan mentioned one my Dad poems from a few years ago, but he was unaware that I had cut that poem from the current Thirty Birds collection. I was trying to keep the poems at a thirty count, and A Call to Cheer didn't quite make the cut. I am still happy with the poem, but it was more personal and less related to actual birds. A bird named team didn't really count, I decided, although I did at least reference the Northern Cardinal's spring call (cheer! cheer! cheer!). Anyway, I am happy to share it, but I'll add it as a sidenote to the Thirty Birds collection. You can find this at http://www.thirtybirdspoetry.com, posted as a comment to the opening epigram (Come, you lost Atoms...)

Dick, where is your water poem?
